Why we use crushed berries, not leaves
Most seabuckthorn teas are made mostly from the leaf. Ours is the whole wild berry — here is what that changes in your cup.

Seabuckthorn has been revered for centuries across Europe and Asia. In the remote valleys of Bhutan it grows wild, its branches heavy with small orange berries that ripen in the mountain sun.
Many teas that carry its name are made mostly from the plant's leaves. We chose a different path: our Himalayan Seabuckthorn is crafted from 100% pure wild berries, carefully crushed and dried by Bhutan Herbal Tea in Bumthang.
Where the goodness lives
The berry is where seabuckthorn keeps its treasures — naturally packed with up to 12 times the Vitamin C of an orange, rich in flavonoids and polyphenols, and a rare plant source of Omega 3, 6, 7 and 9.
Genuine crushed berries. Pure potency.
Because the whole fruit goes into every bag, the cup tastes of it: bright, refreshingly tart, with a gentle fruity sweetness and a deep golden colour. Nothing else is added, and with no tea leaves involved it is naturally caffeine-free.

Why the pyramid bag
Crushed berries need space. Roomy, biodegradable pyramid bags let them open fully as they steep, so every cup brews golden, bright and refreshingly tart.
Once the last bag is gone, the gold tin stays on — for loose spices, keepsakes, or your next rare find.
